(Available at many bookshops or from www.amazon.com) has been greeted with excellent reviews. Sue Arnold (The Guardian 20.09.03) wrote "At last, a manual about wine that makes you want to splash out on a bottle of vintage claret - not to show off, just to enjoy. If only all teachers shared Julian Curry’s infectious enthusiasm … If this were a bottle, Robert Parker would give it 99". The Observer: "A charming lubricated conversation between Julian Curry and his listener about the virtues of wine". Sunday Times: "Up to date and informative, practical and unpretentious." The Sunday Independent: "This is not a set for wine anoraks - and that is precisely its charm. You listen to Curry because he knows how to talk, and his conviction shines through."
