You probably know Julian Curry from seeing him numerous times on television or stage. He is perhaps best known as Claude Erskine-Brown on the ITV/PBS series Rumpole of the Bailey, and has appeared with the Royal Shakespeare Company, at the National Theatre, and in many shows in London's West End. He has recently appeared in the movies Fathers and Sons, and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow with Gwyneth Paltrow, Jude Law and Angelina Jolie.

HIC! is a hilarious and entertaining romp through history, literature, and wine. Julian Curry weaves together quotes about wine from authors and historical figures ranging from Shakespeare and Dickens to P.G.Wodehouse and W.C.Fields as he tells the history of wine in general, and of a certain bottle of 421-year-old wine in particular.
