HIC! makes an excellent centerpiece to an evening for anyone who enjoys wine, theatre, or humor. The show has been performed at charity events, dinner parties, corporate evenings, alongside wine tastings, on pleasure cruises and many a food and wine festival.
A HIC! event generally begins with a glass of wine (often of the bubbly variety), followed by the performance and possibly a light dinner, buffet or wine tasting.
And it's not just for "wine geeks" - as the Observer noted, HIC! is "...a lot of fun for wine buffs, but...plenty of jokes for people who wouldn't know an Aligoté from an alligator."
HIC! is also a great way for theatres to attract a new audience.
Please note: HIC! is specifically designed for international touring, so it is extremely simple to stage as well as cost effective. It can be performed in a wide range of spaces from theatres to tents, from banqueting halls to boats. It plays well to audiences from 50 to 250 whether seated in an auditorium or around dinner tables. It is often performed as part of an evening of dinner theatre, or as an accompaniment to wine tastings or wine quizzes.
Staging requirements are minimal, and the show's running time is approximately 1 hour. If you are looking for a truly unique and enjoyable evening that your friends, guests, customers or group will be talking about for years, HIC! is the ideal entertainment.
